The standard transition qualification for CPL holders stepping into commercial airline cockpits. Covers complete aircraft systems ground school, fixed-base procedural training, Level D Full Flight Simulator sessions, and DGCA skill tests.

01 · Entry Requirements

Eligibility & Prerequisites.

WHO THIS PROGRAM IS FOR

Designed for commercial pilots preparing to operate as First Officers on multi-crew transport aircraft. Whether you are a fresh CPL graduate self-sponsoring your type rating or an airline-sponsored cadet, our modular curriculum takes you through complete ground and simulator certification.

Valid Pilot Licence
Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) with ATPL theory credits, or Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) issued by DGCA or ICAO contracting state.

Multi-Engine Experience
Minimum 25 hours of multi-engine flight time on aircraft or approved simulator platform, including valid multi-engine instrument rating.

Class 1 Medical
Current and valid Class 1 Aviation Medical Certificate without disqualifying operational limitations.

English Language Proficiency
ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4 (Operational) or higher endorsed on current licence.
05
Radiotelephony & FRTOL
Valid Flight Radio Telephony Operator’s Licence (FRTOL) and Wireless Planning & Coordination (WPC) RTR certificate for Indian candidates.

Important Pathway Advisory

Ensure your multi-engine and instrument rating endorsements remain valid throughout the full simulator and skill test schedule. If endorsements are nearing expiry, our flight operations desk can arrange renewal sessions prior to course induction.

Full-Flight Simulator
Stage · 02

Full-Flight Simulator

Practical training in a Full Flight Simulator (FFS) where pilots practise normal operations, procedures, abnormal situations and operational scenarios.

DGCA Skill Test
Stage · 03

DGCA Skill Test

The final check conducted in the applicable FFS pathway by an examiner independent of the training instructor, in accordance with DGCA requirements.
